ABOUT NICK REED
Mediation is all about perspective; seeing and understanding both sides of the dispute and helping all parties find a fair way to move forward. Over the course of my career, I’ve represented both plaintiffs and defendants. Now, I relate to each party’s position because I’ve been in that seat before.
Most recently, I was a founding partner of Ely & Reed, PLLC, a civil litigation law firm in Austin, Texas. My partner and I have been operating the firm for nearly a decade and we’re proud of the fact that most of our business is referral-based. We focus primarily on personal injury and business disputes. Before Ely & Reed, I worked at Hassel, Moorehead, & Carroll in Daytona Beach, where I defended insurance companies and their insureds in personal injury and aviation claims.
I attended St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami, Florida, where I was active in Moot Court, Law Review, and was a teaching assistant to first-year law students. I graduated Cum Laude with a JD/MBA.
I am licensed to practice law in Texas, Florida, and New Jersey.
